The End of The Rainbow

So we are driving home from church tonight and I can hear Tobi babbling about something, and as usual, Colton's telling her to be quiet.  So, I in turn tell him to be quiet and just listen to what she's saying.  I think she was singing with the radio, or singing some little tune they'd just sung at church in Cubbies tonight.  
She started talking about seeing reds and blues and I kinda glanced around at the sky and I realized just how pretty the sunset was tonight.  About that time, Tobi very matter of fact tells me, "Momma, I want to go to the end of the rainbow!  I want to see if there is gold nuggets there!"  I just smiled as she said that.  So sweet.  So innocent.  As my bff said after I posted this on Face Book...Thats the kind of stuff that just makes you wish they never grew up.  


Think about it.  Just how do kids think?  What do they think about?  They think about rainbows and pots of gold and wonder--Whats really at the end of a rainbow?  How about the moon?  Is there really a man in the moon?
And all of those other cute little questions or statements that kids make.  Those are the kinds of things that Tobi can say and it just makes my day.  Just makes me smile and be thankful for those little words coming from my 5 year old.  Makes it a great thing to be a mommy!
